Longview steakhouse is our favorite place to eat for any special occasion. Not only is the food outstanding but its cooked, baked and served by the most amazing family! What a huge treat to get to drive out to beautiful Longview for the most fabulous food in a cozy, friendly environment.

This place is just awesome. The location is perfect, food outstanding and service amazing. Great for a date night!

Beautiful place for the motor cyclist to stop by and take a break. Beautiful view. Very cool atmosphere. Historical and some old memories to rewind. You will see oil wells, Cow boys, etc etc. Week ends are busy. Must stop place. Enjoy the beauty of the nature.

Food was amazing, perfectly seasoned and melted in your mouth. One of the best, if not the best steak I have ever had. And the service is beyond anything that you could imagine. They make you feel like you are part of the family. There is no reason that you should not go if you happen to be in or near Longview. The food is pricey, but the atmosphere, service, and food not only makes up for it it, but it makes you feel like your getting a deal. Going to try and go there lots more for sure!!

Best restaurant in Canada. Hands down. The kind of food you dream about. Top level service and food, without feeling like you need to be dressed to the 9's to enjoy. Busy, so definitely reserve in advance, and prices aren't cheap overall, but I promise you it's worth. Every. Single. Penny. Treat yourself!

Longview Steakhouse Make your reservations well in advance. It is certainly worth the wait. This was our first time here. Comfortable setting. We all had the filet mignon and it was excellent.The servers were great and so was the evening. We finished off the night with desserts.

Its a bit of drive out of Calgary, but well worth it. Resevations strongly recommend if you want to enjoy one of the best steaks in the area!!!! Good sized dining room served by a warm welcoming staff. Excellent food escargo, scallops in a sambuca sauce, lobster bisque with chunks of lobster and shrimp all started a great meal. Steaks seared and done to perfection. Kimchee steak special was a fabulous flavor twist. Well worth the drive for great meal with a wonderful view of the foothills and mountains.

The steak was cooked to perfection. The Beef Carpaccio was so delicious. The service was better than any restaurant I've been to in Calgary. And they had amazing coffee. Will be back again.

Definitely worth it. Even a heavy snowfall warning was not a deterrent to the mission at hand. A first time visitor and we were not disappointed. Great location. The service was outstanding. We had venison which could not possibly been any better. Everyone there was having a great time. Obvious why so many return.

I have never been to any stakehouse anywhere in the world that was as good as the Longview Stakehouse. The location is just perfect and the staff very friendly and helpful. The steak was unbelievably good and the dessert as well. Will definitely go there again next time I'm in Alberta.

Excellent food excellent service!

I've been sitting here for 20min because I don't quite know what to write. The best word I can come up with is perfection. Everything was perfect. The setting, the service, and especially the food. We had a group of 13 and had to book 2 months in advance, and then drive over 2hrs. More than worth it. I had the rib eye steak, cooked and seasoned to perfection. One of the best, if not THE best steak I have ever eaten. Everyone should experience Longview Steakhouse. Just make sure to make a reservation.

Hands down the best. Everything was perfect, service, food, setting. I highly recommend going, make sure you plan a night where you can enjoy it. You dont want to rush your dinning dining experience.

For a guy who loathes the Steakhouse this is a welcome break from the corporate nonsense that dominates this genre.Family owned and operated with the finest Alberta has to offer well worth the trip outside the city .

If you are truly looking for a great experience, some great food, this is the place. Yes it is outside of town, but when I saw the reaction of my fiancé, it was all worth it!The steak is bar none, the best my fiancé and my owns best steak we've ever had. Compared to even some of the best steak house in Vegas, I do prefer this one more. We had the sirloins with the jumbo shrimps on top. Man of man, so delicious, thinking about it now makes me drool. The view is amazing, service is of course fantastic. If you are planning something special, and want a special place to go with it, this is the place. It'll take some time to get a table in, and I promise you, it's worthwhile!

Great view, great service and spectacular food. This is where I go when I want to be all out blown away. There is nothing in the Calgary area that even comes close. They book months out so you need to plan ahead but the wait is well worth it! Wish I could rate this 6 or 7 stars

It took one time dining here before it became my favorite restaurant period. The staff are absolutly wonderful, the service is impeccable and the food is truly the best. The best steak I've ever had, and continues to be. I go a few times each year and the quality of everything never diminishes. It's always superb every time I go. I tell everyone and anyone if you have not been here you need to go. I wish I could give it more than five stars.

Well worth the drive from Calgary. From start to finish, service was great! The food was unbelievable. The scallops were probably the best I've ever had. A simple broccoli and cheese soup couldn't be any better. My new York strip was just perfect. Even dessert was was delicious. Everyone at our table enjoyed their meals.

I'm here to tell you that reality fits the hype. Josie and I went last week and everything is fabulous - the building, the atmosphere, the welcome, the view, the service, the decor, and the food. The servers, Nanni and Sam (married to each other - adorable) were polite, funny, gracious, attentive, talkative (but not overly so) and just plain pleasant. Sam's parents own the place and have for years. Both of them are as good as the "children" but we didn't interact with them as much. Their family name is, Belmoufid. Isn't that a wonderful name - I love it.

The setting is nice, an open sunroom on one side. A little pricey, and you wait a bit for your food but man is it all worth it. I tried several items and they were all worth it.

The food is absolutley worth the trip to Longview. The added bonuses are the ambience, views and the excellent wait staff. The menu has lots of options if you aren't a fan of steak so nobody is left out.

Bit of a drive out from Calgary but the staff were friendly and the food fantastic. Loved the Veal rib steak I had. Cooked and seasoned perfectly.

There is sometimes a long wait but it is worth it. Anyone who likes steaks and is near the area should try this place.

Longview Steakhouse does not disappoint. It was a long wait to get there, as reservations were made months before because of it's popularity. But it was definitely worth the wait. The drive to Longview on a clear evening is in itself beautifully picturesque. And sets the stage for the awesome view of the Rocky Mountains from the restaurant. The staff are friendly and the service is exceptional. The cocktails and wine were cold and tasty. The meals of Rib steak, 2 Peppercorn Steaks and the Seafood Pasta were all cooked to perfection. The meals were hot and tasty. The quality ingredients and the care taken to prepare them shone through in every bite. And the bread pudding for desert was insanely delicious. Now the price for such a wonderful experience doesn't come cheap. $48.99 for the Rib Steak, $40.00 each for the Peppercorn Steaks and $35.00 for the Seafood Pasta. Not including drinks, desert and tip. That being said, was it worth it? Absolutely.....

Let alone their perfection to every single dish that comes out of the kitchen, the welcoming and warm atmosphere the moment you enter until you are seated facing an astonishing view of the rocky mountains. Longview Steakhouse is not just restaurant, it is an experience. If you are in the Calgary area pick up the phone and reserve your table now.

Always great service with great food! We had our wedding dinner booked at Longview Steakhouse after eating there on several occasions, and we continue to go back once or twice a year when we are looking to treat ourselves to an amazing meal with great service and fantastic views. Amazing experience top to bottom. Excellent service and atmosphere. All of the steak was perfectly cooked, included vegetables, potatoes and soup or salad. Dessert was amazing. Highly recommended. Worth the drive from Calgary!

This place is something else. I've eaten all around the world, but this place was one of the best restaurants I have ever eaten at. Both my wife and I had steaks and we were blown away by their quality. The service and ambiance are very welcoming. The place is not pretentious or pompous like some fine dinning restaurants can be. Here they simply serve exceptionally good steaks. It is a bit pricey, but you get more than you pay for. If you want to treat someone and make them happy, bring them here. My wife and I can't wait to come back.

Hands down the best steak I've ever had, anywhere. It's rare treat to have an extremely positive dining experience, hype it up in your mind over the years, and then come back and have it meet and exceed your expectations all over again. We've been back many times over the past ten years and each visit is just as good as the last, if not better. Located in Longview about an hour South of Calgary, the fact that you need to book a table here at least a month in advance speaks volumes to how good the food is.The dining room also offers spectacular views of the foothills and rocky mountains. Come during golden hour for the best scenery.

This steak house has several best. The best family ran business when it comes to making sure that you are welcome and entertained. It doesn't matter what food you order it will absolutely be the best. Let's not forget about the view of the Rocky Mountains from the dinning area of the restaurant the best.
